Young people in action

We have run projects working with young people, making a real, practical difference to the Churnet Valley and getting them out and about experiencing the Churnet Valley and its wildlife.

So far, almost 400 young people have been involved in some way. They may do a few sessions as part of a college group, or come to our school holiday activities or have taken part in our young rangers group.

We are proud to have taught local young people practical skills like fencing or woodland management. .
