JCB is the one of the world's leading equipment manufacturers and a major supplier of tractors and materials handling equipment to the agricultural sector. It is privately owned by the Bamford family. The company's World Headquarters is in Rocester, Staffordshire and is set in 175 acres of landscaped grounds surrounded by lakes, which are populated by more than 30 different breeds of wildfowl. JCB also has three factories in the Staffordshire Moorlands, one in Oakamoor Road in Cheadle and two others on the outskirts of the town on the Harewood Industrial Estate.
