The Environment Agency is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
We work to create better places for people and wildlife, and support sustainable development. Part of how we do this is by working in partnership to protect and improve water, land and biodiversity.
One of the advantages of our membership of the CVLLP Board is to identify opportunities for improvements that might not otherwise have been recognised. A good example of this is the extended Headwaters project for 2014 – 15 where EA funding is adding to the work already started by the CVLLP.
